Overview

A well-established international academy in Guangzhou is seeking an experienced AP Psychology Teacher to teach high school students. This role is ideal for a qualified Psychology teacher with strong subject knowledge, AP curriculum awareness and a passion for supporting international university pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach AP Psychology to high school students
  • Prepare and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
  • Support students’ academic progress and exam readiness
  • Design and grade homework, placement tests, progress assessments, midterms, and final exams
  • Maintain effective classroom management and an interactive learning environment
  • Communicate with homeroom teachers regarding student learning and progress
  • Complete academic requirements set by the Academic Director
  • Attend required meetings, including parent meetings and weekly academic meetings

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Native-level English proficiency preferred
  • Bachelor degree or above in Psychology from an English-speaking country preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience
  • Familiarity with the AP curriculum preferred
  • Ability to prepare lessons for a new curriculum if required
  • Eligible for a Chinese work visa or already holding a valid work visa
  • Clear criminal record
  • Good health
