Key Responsibilities

  • Teach AP Literature and Academic Writing to middle and high school students
  • Deliver structured lessons using the provided syllabus and course outline
  • Support students in literary analysis, critical thinking, essay writing, and academic English development
  • Prepare engaging lessons that build students’ confidence in advanced reading and writing
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain a positive, organised, and academically focused classroom environment
  • Participate in orientation, training, and school-related activities when required

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above
  • Degree background in Literature, History, English, Humanities or related field preferred
  • TEFL, TESOL or CELTA certificate
  • Native-level English proficiency
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to teach secondary learners in a structured academic environment
  • Eligible for a Chinese work visa
